The LFC Tigers Youth Football and Cheer Club ("LFC") is a community based not-for-profit football and cheerleading organization for youth, ages 7-14 for football and grades 1st-8th for cheerleading.
Based in Lyons Township, Illinois, our organization focuses on long-term, player development. LFC competes in the well-established Bill George Youth Football League ("BGYFL"), representing some of the finest youth athletic programs in Illinois. The competing teams in this league are based in the Western suburbs of Chicago.
LFC is a competitive athletic program formed with the goal of developing young student athletes and is focused on team building, teaching the proper techniques and fundamentals of tackle football and competitive cheer in a supervised, organized and safe environment.
We believe that by focusing on proper technique and fundamentals in a competitive environment, our members will develop the required skills and quality habits to compete in their high school athletic endeavours.
In addition to the emphasis on these valuable playing skills, LFC also stresses valuable life skills such as self-discipline, teamwork, friendship, respect, leadership, character, sportsmanship, the importance of scholastic achievement, while having fun along the way.
LFC is excited about the opportunity to advance competitive football and cheer participation for our members. We believe our fundamental focused, team first approach, rooted in solid teachings and life values will help develop our youth into well rounded individuals, as well as advance future excellence and team achievement in our area.
